A traditional festival of TV films Man and the Sea has opened in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. The works of both Russian and foreign TV studios are represented there, among them films by Japanese crews, one of which describes the consequences of the accident at the Fukushima NPP in March last year, the South Korean film The Northern Wayand films from the US and the Czech Republic.The winners in the nominations of ‘environmental protection’, ‘history’, ‘the Navy’, ‘underwater camera’ and ‘sea sports’ will be determined by the jury and spectators who will vote by ballot and online.
