How to recognize fake hand sanitizer

The demand and use of some items have been multiplied during the Coronavirus period. Hand sanitizer is notable among those. Health experts have repeatedly suggested washing hands with soap and water to prevent coronavirus.

However, soap, water is not always available near hand. Alcoholic hand sanitizer is a successful alternative. However, some dishonest people have taken advantage of it and making fake hand sanitizers. Which cannot prevent viruses, but harms our health. So, let’s know how to recognize a fake hand sanitizer -

Tissue Paper Test
Take a tissue paper and place it on a flat surface. Then draw a circle in the middle with a pen. Pour a few drops of hand sanitizer into that circle. If the ink on the pen starts to fade and spread, it means your hand sanitizer is fake. However, if the circle remains as it is and the paper dries quickly, then the sanitizer is real.

Flour Test
You can also test hand sanitizer using flour. Take some flour in a bowl and put some hand sanitizer in it. Then knead the flour well. If you can easily make lump with flour and sanitizer, then that hand sanitizer is fake.

Hair Dryer Test
Take a hairdryer and a small bowl to do this test. Pour a few drops of hand sanitizer into a bowl. Now take a hair dryer and try to dry the sanitizer. If the sanitizer is genuine, it should not take more than five seconds to dry. And if the sanitizer doesn't dry out, realize it's not real. Source: https://www.daily-bangladesh.com/
