The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a nasal spray called “SPRAVATO” to reduce suicidal thoughts. But this is not for everyone. This spray, made by Johnson & Johnson, is just for those who don't get good result by using other conventional drugs to treat depression.
According to the Indian newspaper Anandabazar, it is difficult all over the world to accept being 'new-normal', to be physically away from society in order to keep oneself healthy in this quarantine life of coronavirus. But for some it is becoming unbearable, the US administration is particularly concerned about those who have serious problems with depression.
The number of the people who have seriously depressed is closer to 1.7 billion in the United States, between 11 and 12 percent of them have a tendency to commit suicide.
